Lets Turn This Thing Electric - Peru

The region of Huabal in Peru spans several mountains, resulting in diverse climates and soils—ranging from wet, red, clay-like soils to hot and dry conditions. This diversity translates into complex and distinctive cup profiles. We are very excited to release this one as naturally processed Peruvian coffees are very rare. Although not certified organic, the farm owner Presbítero Herrera Torres avoids chemical inputs and instead fertilizes with all natural compost and manure to catalyse growth.

In the cup this is a vibrant and fruity coffee leaning towards tropical and funky flavours more the clean and crisp acidity. This really stands out as a vibrant and complex filter brew but with a bit of dialing in it also gives a great base for a slightlier funkier flat white. Definitely more in the adventurous side but the payoff is there!!
