Mystic in the Air - Honduras

This delicious washed coffee comes to us all the way from Finca Las Tres Peñas in El Cedral, Honduras. Because of the farms location at the towering altitude of 1650 meters above sea level the beans grow in a slower, almost more deliberate way and this slower growth leads to more developed flavours and more sugars in the cherries for greater sweetness.

This particular coffee is incredibly clean and crisp with gorgeous delicate flavours of red berries and nectarine with a gentle, caramel like mouthfeel. It does taste great on espresso but to us really shines as a filter coffee for people who love clarity of flavour and sweetness rather than boozy fermented notes. Because of the small size of the farm and their policy of only growing high quality microlots we have a very small amount of this coffee and once it's gone we won't have it back for another year. Get it while you can, you won't be disappointed!
